Man Wah Brand Design

Within my local area I walk past a Chinese restaurant named Man Wah, upon first glance I thought it was in need of a brand refresh. I decided to take it upon myself to design a logo for the restaurant, along with a design for their menus and takeaway box.

I first started by investigating the name of the restaurant, where I discovered its origins came from old Chinese comic books. With this I decided to create a tone of voice and visual style that resembled comic books and super heroes.
